The Curator is an AI-assisted publication. Articles, summaries, quizzes, rankings, comparisons, and chat replies are produced with a combination of large language models, structured data pipelines, and editorial templates. This page explains what that means, where the limits are, and how we handle accuracy, sources, advertising, and your rights as a reader.
What "AI-assisted" means here
Most pages in our Knowledge Engine are drafted by AI models, then run through deterministic repair steps that add structure (summary, key takeaways, ELI5, body, timeline, glossary, FAQs, predictions, risks, opportunities, expert angle, references) and attach a hero image with attribution where possible. Pages are versioned: when an article is improved or refreshed, its version badge updates so returning visitors can see that the content is living, not frozen.
Some pages start as a thin draft and are enriched over time. We mark drafts as such in the admin queue, and we publish only when the page has enough structure and substance to be useful. Even so, AI-assisted writing can contain mistakes — please treat everything here as a starting point for your own research, not a final authority.

Accuracy, hallucinations & corrections
AI models can produce confident but incorrect statements — sometimes called "hallucinations." We mitigate this by:
- Cross-checking with structured sources (Wikipedia, RSS feeds, public datasets) where available.
- Preferring concrete examples, dated milestones, and named entities over vague claims.
- Hedging forward-looking statements ("reportedly," "as of <year>").
- Maintaining a version trail and a public correction form on every article.

Sources, attribution & images
Articles cite their sources at the bottom of each page when known. Hero images come from one of: (1) Wikipedia / Wikimedia Commons (Creative Commons licenses), (2) Openverse (Creative Commons / public domain), or (3) a generative SVG cover we render ourselves when no licensed photo is available. We display the photographer or contributor and the license whenever the upstream source provides them. If you believe an image is being used incorrectly, please contact us and we will remove or replace it.

References to films, games, shows, books, brands, companies, public figures, events, and other works are made for educational, journalistic, and entertainment purposes only.
